By using Infinity Scout you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Profile fields you provide (e.g., employee name, designation) if included in your account.
Lead / business data (user-provided)
Lead name, phone number, email, address, notes, documents or photos attached to a lead.
Any other fields the employee enters while creating or updating a lead.
Location data
Background and foreground device location collected periodically while the app is running (every few minutes as configured), including GPS, network-based location, and approximate coordinates.
Infinity Scout collects and processes employee location data during work hours (7 AM–9 PM) even when the app is closed, for operational monitoring. This information is transmitted securely to company servers and not shared externally.
Device & usage data
Device identifiers (e.g., device model, OS version), app version, crash reports, and usage telemetry to monitor and improve performance.
Optional media & files
Photos or documents that you attach to leads (requires permission to access storage/camera).
3. How We Use Your Data
We use collected information for the following purposes:
To authenticate users and provide access to employee accounts.
To enable employees to create, manage and view leads and related media.
To store and display lead history and activity for reporting and audit.
To track employee location in the background for business purposes such as verifying field visits, lead attribution, and route reporting.
To troubleshoot issues, monitor app performance, and improve features.
To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Location tracking notice: Infinity Scout collects location continuously (in the background). This is used strictly for business purposes (field visit tracking and lead verification). You can disable background location in your device settings, but some app features may stop working as intended.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (where applicable)
If you are in a jurisdiction that requires a legal basis (for example, the EU), we rely on:
Performance of a contract — to provide the app and its core features to employees.
Legitimate business interests — for background location tracking, fraud prevention, and product improvement.
Consent — for optional features where we explicitly request it (e.g., access to photos or camera if not strictly required for core functionality).
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Typical retention periods:
Account and authentication data: retained while the account is active and up to X years after account deletion for audit/legal reasons.
Lead records and attachments: retained according to company data retention policy (commonly between 1–7 years depending on business/regulatory needs).
Location logs: retained for the period required for operational and verification needs (commonly 90–365 days) unless otherwise required by law.
Replace the above retention durations with your company-specific policy.
6. Sharing & Third Parties
We may share personal data with:
Service providers and subprocessors that perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, SMS gateways, mapping providers).
Company affiliates and our CRM/ERP systems used by IFSPL.
Law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We require third parties to handle data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and to keep data secure. If we transfer data internationally, we will use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

10. Location Permission & How To Disable
The app requests location permissions for background and foreground use. To disable background location:
On Android: Settings → Apps → Infinity Scout → Permissions → Location → Deny or set to “Allow only while using the app”
Note: disabling or restricting background location may limit or disable field tracking features.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy at https://app.infinityfincorp.com/privacy.html and update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or email if you are registered.
